Recaro Seat - Type-R Red Alcantera

Here is the base, a 5mm sheet of stainless steel bolted to the 5 wheel
pedestal. As seen below the Recaro seat is perfect for this conversion as
it is completely flat! 6 x bolt holes line up to the ones on the base, that is it!
Simple, eh? This makes it a doddle for making an adapter to fit it your car's
original runners, simply make adapter rails like the following from slightly
thicker steel or aluminium.

Below is the seat fitted, it is perfectly balanced and stays upright even with
it reclined fully!

jib for a desk chair, but you can't beat the chair for being comfy while sitting
at the desk.
